Summation of the Completion
Conglomeration of
imagination with integration of recommendation leads to conceptualization and
perception of the proposition with visualisation of the conclusion. Announcement
of the project brought the sextet from Railway Systems Engineering into the
discussion. The identification of potential topics was followed by shortlisting
of the topic, “Delays caused by land acquisition”. The experience of Arpyit in
his short career with construction of Dedicated Freight Corridor proved to be
our source of inspiration. Comprehension of the complication is the first step
to determination of a solution. Collection of first-hand data and construction
of the problem statement helped us shed our inhibition and gain a sense of
direction. Sarvesh and Jestin cast a good impression by collection of relevant
data with motivation and dedication.
Identification of the
causes of the problem became the centre of attention. Extrapolation and
analysis of the gathered data was done by Prerna with conviction. The analysis
provided Aditi and Saaluvesh the foundation for the fish-bone diagram and its
explanation. With the generation of the fish-bone diagram of the causes, the
next step involved the discussion of every solution. Examination and
explanation of the pros and cons was done by every team member using a T-Chart
involving juxtaposition. Decision matrix was generated based on four criteria
for the formulation of the best possible solution.
Identification of tasks
and resources was carried out by Arpyit and Saaluvesh taking the existing
process and individual ideas into consideration. Action steps were ascertained
by Aditi for formulation of the timeline for the Gantt Chart, and its
generation. Explanation of the order of succession in the action steps for
implementation of the solution was written down by Saaluvesh to the team’s satisfaction.
Negation of ramification
being an impossibility is justification for a back up plan in every situation. Formation
of the same was done by Aditi with Saaluvesh performing the evaluation of the
solution in addition to the overall compilation. Participation in this team
project has been an occasion for celebration in every team member’s perception.
Cognition and recognition of expression gave satisfaction in the mission.
